From a total of 28 regions of the Organization worldwide (America, Canada, Australia, Europe) with 450 Chapters in full operation and among more than 2 million members worldwide, my nomination was shortlisted for AHEPA's greatest individual Membership Award .
At the same time, the region of Greece was also awarded, and more specifically AHEPA Hellas District 25, as the first region worldwide.
I would like to point out that it is the second time in a short period of time that both I and Maritime St' Nicholas have been distinguished as "AHEPAN OF THE YEAR" and "CHAPTER OF THE YEAR", since for the first time we were awarded at the 23rd Panhellenic Congress of AHEPA, which took place in Katerini, on June 17-18, 2022.
I would like to state that I am happy and proud to belong to the great global family of AHEPA, whose contribution is prominent and recognized in the international community and in Hellenism everywhere.
I believe that we have held high the banner of the newly formed AHEPA Maritime "St' Nicholas" doing the utmost of the duty that we have undertaken collectively as a Group and myself personally as President, promoting within a short period of time, and indeed in the peculiar regime of a pandemic, its ideals and ideals AHEPA.
